Welcome
» The Joyce Station Area Planning Association, first opened the Collingwood Community Policing Centre in April of 1994 to serve the Collingwood-Renfrew Area. This was a new form of community policing never before seen in North America. Its goal: To bridge the gap between the local community, the city of Vancouver, and the Vancouver Police Department.
It is the goal of our office to educate you in order to empower you to take responsibility for crime prevention in your community.
Community policing is a results-oriented, community based system relying heavily on the cooperation of policing officers, volunteers, and community members. We believe that we can provide you with the tools to take a leadership role in reducing crime in your neighbourhood.

Mascot Derby 2009
On August 16th, 2009 the first annual Variety Mascot Derby race commenced at Hasting Racecourse. In the exciting race fifteen mascots competed for bragging rights; from Jack from the Vancouver Giants to our very own Constable Chip of Collingwood CPC.
This event helped Variety raise funds for children with special needs throughout BC. The Mascot Derby Race was a huge success and Collingwood CPC looks forward to participating again next year.
